Before two days the activities of the largest electronic games exhibition “Gamescom” kicked off in Cologne, Germany, which thousands of followers around the world are looking forward to.
On an area of 230,000 square meters, more than 1,200 toy makers from 63 countries will display their new products.
Thousands of gamers patiently queued to get a chance to play 15 minutes of the latest game releases due in the coming months.
Felix Falk, managing director of the German Toy Industry Association, which is involved in organizing the fair, was enthusiastic about the fair. In a press release, he emphasized that the exhibition is a reflection of global gaming culture, describing it as “dynamic, international, creative, diverse and huge.”
With the return of “Gamescom” in Cologne and a greater participation than its previous editions in the past years, it has become the most prominent exhibition in the world in this field.
Brazil became the first official partner country of “Gamescom” from Latin America, where the electronic games industry there has grown strongly in recent years, with a primary focus on the PC and mobile games market.
