Starbucks, the world’s leading provider of premium coffee, and Alshaya Group, a leading global franchise operator, celebrated the reopening of their recently renovated flagship store in Grand Avenue – The Avenues in Kuwait. The opening was attended by Brian Niccol, Chairman and CEO of Starbucks, Mohammed Abdulaziz Alshaya, Executive Chairman of Alshaya Group, and a host of VIPs and invitees.

Located in a prime location in the heart of The Avenues in Kuwait, the café is the first Starbucks Reserve café in Kuwait and when it opened in 2012 it was one of the largest Starbucks cafés in the world.

The two-story, 5,000-square-foot café features a new design inspired by Kuwait’s artistic heritage and authentic local traditions and culture, incorporating exquisite woodwork, innovative murals, and other exceptional design touches in the interior décor, furniture, and fixtures. The café, which can accommodate more than 160 customers, also features a main terrace overlooking the iconic Grand Avenue, providing a new and inviting space to enjoy the Starbucks experience.
